EcoDrive - Connecting Safety, Environment and Economy

EcoDriving and Safe Driving go hand in hand. Both contribute to lower crash rates and lower vehicle emissions.

EcoDriving does not mean pottering around at slow speeds. In fact research shows that when drivers apply EcoDriving techniques, their journeys take less time. It's to do with planning and anticipating and looking ahead - i.e. defensive driving skills.

So Murcotts' Defensive Driving Programs incorporate EcoDriving principles and techniques. You don't need to do a separate course.

If organisations want to provide their staff with wider education about the impact of vehicles on the environment and information about climate change generally, we have designed a specialist in-house program to meet that need.  The interactive workshop format includes practical exercises completed in small group settings combined with a multimedia presentation. The content extends beyond vehicles and driving to ensure that issues associated with the environment and the impact of humans are addressed in the broader context.

An important component of Murcotts EcoDriving program is a practical on-road driver assessment to ensure the skills of EcoDriving are mastered and demonstrated.
